Dobinsons IMS Monotube Shock Absorbers are engineered to deliver superior performance in the most challenging and demanding conditions. The advanced monotube design significantly reduces fade, ensuring consistent performance on corrugated roads, during extended or intense 4WD adventures, and under the rigors of towing or racing.

Composite piston wear bands, high quality Fuchs oil and a race style 3-stage sealing system offer the lowest levels of friction whilst maintaining durability and longevity without the need for frequent rebuilding or servicing. Our team of engineers spend hundreds of hours of testing and tuning the shim stacks and damping characteristics in each IMS shock to ensure a balance of comfort, handling, vehicle control and off-road performance.

The larger 50 and 60mm high flow pistons reduce internal pressures, reduce the heat generated, transfer heat to the body for faster cooling and offer improved damping performance and vehicle control at higher shaft speeds on rough terrain and during big impacts.

The Dobinsons Front IFP IMS Shocks, feature threaded bodies on the struts allowing for fine tuning of height and offer further improvements in cooling.The micropolished, hard chromed and heat treat shock shaft, CNC aluminium high flow race inspired piston, and DOM seamless tubing body provides the ultimate in performance and off-road durability!

CONSTANT LOAD REAR LEAF SPRINGS

HOW TO SELECT THE CORRECT REAR LOAD SPRING RATE

When selecting the correct load rating leaf spring for your ute, consider what Accessories you're driving with 90% of the time.

Calculate the weight of each accessory in the rear of the vehicle. The calculated Accessory weight rate would only be required for accessories that are bolted into the vehicle 90% of the time. For example if you attach a roof top tent to your vehicle once every couple of months, do not apply this weight into your constant load calculation.

If your rear tub is empty most of the time, opt for a 0-300kg rating. However, if you have drawers and a fiberglass canopy, a constant 300kg rating is more suitable. Calculate all the accessories and typical loads in the rear of your vehicle to determine the appropriate load rating. Balancing your regular load with the spring rating ensures optimal performance and comfort for your specific driving needs.
